Except for embedded software (where we use mbeddr) I think it is useful in all the other domains I’ve seen over the years: government, tax, healthcare, engineering. That doesn’t mean is MUST be the best choice EVERYWHERE, but I am pretty confident it’s quite ubiquotous.
